6th edition of Walking for Peace, Malcantone – Varese’s areaOn Saturday, October 6th 2018, the 6th edition of the transboundary event “Walking for Peace” will take place in Malcantone and in the Varese’s area. The event is supported by Swiss and Italian municipalities. The whole event will be animated by performances and show that will take place at each leg of the path, and, lastly, at the Sala comunale of Ponte Tresa there will be a “Maccheronata (Pasta) of solidarity” and the award ceremony of the competition “Crea una bandiera per la Pace”.
Inauguration of the 8th World Peace Forum and the “Village of Peace”Dear teachers, on Monday, November 12th 2018, from 8.45 AM to 4 PM don’t miss the event that will take place at Palazzo dei Congressi of Lugano: a whole day completely dedicated to primary, middle, high an professional schools’ students of Ticino. There will be various workshops related to the Forum’s topic “Peace and protection of people and the environment”, in every shade of meaning, namely the defense of every human or living being and the diffusion of a peace, tolerance and solidarity message.
This year the Forum has received a special patronage by Swiss ITI (International Theatre Institute).
Sunday the 13th of May, Culture Ticino Network Association is honored to invite you to a charity concert that will take place at San Carlo Borromeo Church in Lugano.
The main artist for this important event will be the virtuous mezzo-soprano Julia Gertseva and her children choir “La Musica”, the Orthodox choir, the violinist Natalia Carpenco with the music accompaniment of Stefano Cropanese.
The concert is free offer and the donations received during this charity event will be devolved to our local and international projects that we support: “Spazio Generazoni”, a project in Caslano for young people, and our international project: the construction of a multipurpose center in the Philippines where we can provide to the needy food programs, health examinations and education programs.

27.05.2018: StraLugano 2018: join us in 4Charity Run!We have big news for this 2018! We, Culture Ticino Network Association, are proud of taking part for the StraLugano 2018 event. We will attend the 4Charity run: a solidarity marathon that will take place the 27th of May in Lugano at 14:15 PM.
4Charity is a charity event open to anyone, by running or taking a stroll!
DRAW A FLAG FOR PEACE Culture Ticino Network launches a contest in order to create a flag of the 6th walking for peace, which will held on Saturday 6th October. The contest is addressed to 3th and 4th elementary classes in Ticino and in Varese’s area.

Culture Ticino Network launches a contest in order to create a flag of the 6th walking for peace, which will held on Saturday 6th October. The contest is addressed to 3th and 4th elementary classes in Ticino and in Varese’s area.
First of all the creation of the flag should be a draw, which represents peace, solidarity and the union of people. Drawings will be evaluated by a jury composed of the executive board of Culture Network Association: President and founder Margherita Maffeis, the members: Sabine De Luca, Jolanda Conedera and Laura Oreggioni and by two people with experience in the educational sector: Giovanna Morano and Loredana Mottini . The award ceremony of the winning class will take place during the “maccheronata di solidarità” in the Municipal Hall of Ponte Tresa from 12:30 to 15:00.

Special evening dedicated to Peace and the PhilippinesCulture Ticino Network Association of Lugano has the pleasure of inviting you to a very special evening, dedicated to Peace and the Philippines, that will take place on Saturday 17th November, from 5 p.m to 12 p.m, at the Suitenhotel Parco Paradiso in Lugano.
Beyond the participation of several well-known guests and the amazing entertainment, we will attend a very special evening since there will be the inaugural ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of the Philippines over Ticino, after the appointment as honorary Consul of the president and founder of Culture Ticino Network association Margherita Maffeis. An office that enhance also the commitment of the Association for the Country.
