Cocktail and Gala Dinner of solidarity “Solidarity flavors over time” at the restaurant “Ai Giardini di Sassa” – Villa Sassa, Lugano, from 7.00 pm

The Culture Ticino Network Association is pleased to invite you at the annual convivial evening with the Gala Dinner of solidarity, part of the 6th World Forum for Peace.
In the beautiful setting of the restaurant “Ai Giardini di Sassa”, after a tasty aperitif, there will be the gala dinner of solidarity “The solidarity flavors over time” by the chef Luigi Lafranco, with the presence of renowned guests: first of all the Philippine consul, Mrs. Lazaro, the lawyer Rei Ferrari Chiarella, and many more!
The evening will be full of music and entertainment in 50’s style with the wonderful voice and the harmonious violin of “Le Unio” and the animation of the magician Daniele Er. Godmother of the evening will be the former RSI journalist, Maristella Polli, familiar face of the Ticino landscape.

An event full of fun, which does not forget the social commitment: the proceeds will be donated to support the orphanage Bethany House Sto. Niño in the Philippines.

Sunday, 19th November, from  3:30 PM, at the Cinema Lux (Art House): 7th World Forum, Show of solidarity “Regala un sorriso”

This wonderful show of solidarity will represent the peace communication in every single shade, through dancing, music and singing. There will be Maristella Polli, Daniel Er, illusionist and mentalist, Francesca Parrotta, singer, Duo Full House, cabaret, and Julia Gertseva and with her childrens choir “La Musica”.

The conference’s title will be “Bridging East and West: The Philippines in Asia and the World. Commemorating 60 Years Of Philippines-Switzerland Diplomatic Relations” held by Dr. Jose Ricardo, history professor and director of the Third World Studies Center of the Diliman University in the Philippines.

Show of solidarity that will represent the peace communication in every single shade.  The artists will be: Manos Como Palomas, flamenco, Samah Gayed, dance of peace, Loris Allemann, singer-songwriter and Ashkenazy Ballet Center, ballet classic and modern.

Finissage of an art exhibition “ADESSO”, for the occasion Loris Allemann will hold a concert with selected songs. The funds raised in this event will support the Association’s solidarity project.

“COSMOS“
Wednesday, April 6, 2016, starting at 7:00 pm, at Teatro Foce in Lugano

The Associazione Ticino Culture Network, in partnership with Ferruccio Cainero, is pleased to invite you Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Teatro Foce di Lugano, for the theatrical play “Cosmos“. At 7:00 pm there we will be an aperitivo and, at  7:30 pm, the show will begin.

“There are many popular books that tell us about the origins of the universe, stars, galaxies and the physical laws that govern the cosmos. But, as these books in the preface promise to do so in a simple and sympathetic way, the reader always ends up drowning in a sea of ​​”x” and “y “, mathematical  and physics formulas. With his show,Ferruccio Cainero , manages to do it in a way not only lightweight, but poetic and fun narrating the life and adventures of Toni, a mechanic who had a workshop called “Cosmos”.

Fasten your seat belts! The theater will become a spaceship traveling through space and time to discover that each of us is a universe and that the universe is infinitely creative and will never cease to amaze!

FOOD AND MEDICINE FOR CHILDREN OF BETHANY HOUSE IN THE PHILIPPINES

In December 2015, the Associazione Culture Ticino Network has financed the purchase of food and medicines for the children of the Bethany House Sto. Nino orphanage,  in the Philippines. Thanks to the  5th World Forum for Peace and our other fundraising events, we were able d to achieve this great goal and we decided to continue to support the Bethany House for the year 2016.

In particular, for the coming year, our organization will work to provide more help to the orphanage. Thanks to your support, our fundraising events and at our crowdfunding project, we plan to build, restore and repair classrooms, ceilings and kitchens to give children adequate spaces, where play and study.

These children need YOU!

Thanks to your contribution, however small, can make a big difference in the lives of these children.
